If you would like to know a little more about me, check out my bio!

Feel free to drop by my Facebook to say Hi, or hit the Contact button up top to reach out to see if I'm available to photograph for you. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my work - it is my passion, my love, and last but not least my job.

Corporate Portraits

Corporate portraits are an integral part of any business. With hundreds of millions of photos being uploaded every day to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Flickr it’s vital to have a professional representation of yourself.

It’s not just a head shot – it’s a portrait. In today’s social media stage, it’s more important to show your personality as opposed to just what you look like.

Your time is important – this is why I come to you. I can setup while you are in a meeting, take your photograph during coffee, and break down while you head to lunch, minimizing the amount of time you need to spend

A session includes:

  • Up to 15 minutes of photography
  • 3 professionally edited images + 1 of the image with a an empty background (great for business cards and letterheads)
  • $495 per person

You can book your session by calling me at: 619-244-0399 or emailing me at: bryan@redtiephotography.net

Jesus and Claudia Gastelum – Mission San Diego and Coronado Community Center

Jesus and Claudia are so sweet together – as soon as we met we hit it off and found out we have a lot in common. They were going through the process of getting married in the Catholic church (Victoria and I just did get married in the Catholic church), Jesus used to work for my mom and they live a block around from them now!

Jesus and Claudia held their ceremony at the Mission San Diego.

Being a sock guy myself, I LOVE these socks that Claudia got for Jesus!

Richard Tancil #WhoAreYouPortrait

Richard is my second participant for my #WhoAreYouPortrait, and I’m really stoked on it! We worked together at Best Buy about 5 years ago and he has seen me start as a photographer (and I was BAD when I started) to grow to where I am now. As with the portrait of my dad, Steve Koci, I wanted to incorporate things that were important to Richard, what made him who he is today.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

“There are really only 3 main things I do in my spare time/for fun. Draw, shoot and ride my motorcycle”

Because of this, we incorporated his Nikon D2xs, the 2 GoPro cameras mounted to his bike, and his bike itself.

What is most important to you?

“Family, friends, my dog, art and sports. Also, volunteering my spare time shooting sports for El Capitan’s yearbook.”

To show his family, Richard brought a few photos of his grandparents and Mom. Of course, the SD on the bike showing his love for both his city and sports team, and the camera and earbuds showing the love of art (in all it’s many forms).

What makes you comfortable?

“My family, small group of friends, and my street bike. I can get away from the world if I need a reset and to be back at peace. Or even if I just want to have a good afternoon, and am already happy”

Richard describes himself as a laid back dude, and I can certainly attest to that. We chose this location because I really wanted to get a feel for him escaping; just Richard, his bike, and the things he holds most dear. I wanted to show off the sunny San Diego weather and the warmth and fun of it all.

I’d love to hear from you! Leave a message in the comment on what you think, or let me know if you want to be part of this series as well.

Cameron and Katie Pittman – Married

Cameron and Katie got married on May 19, 2012 at the Administrative Building in Balboa Park, and held their reception at the Ocean Beach Hotel. While I went to high school with both of them, we didn’t know each other much. However, they both knew, and were really close friends, with my fiancé (soon wife) Victoria.

Although a bag of my flashes was presumed lost for a few days, I had so much fun with these two. The were certainly up for anything and the photos show it. It just so happened that their wedding landed on the same weekend as the Ocean Beach Street Fair, so we of course had to head over and take some photos there!

Not quite sure what this was, but they sure were enjoying it:)

Every so often there would be a pause as we waited for a plane to fly overhead.

Thanks so much you guys – you were so much fun! If you would like to book your wedding with me, check out my prices here: http://redtiephotography.net/pricing/

Chris and Becca Smith – Centennial Park, Coronado

I photographed Chris and Becca’s wedding in June, 2012 and they wanted a few more photos before they moved from San Diego to Florida. As I was looking back through some of my weddings I needed to blog, I ran across this session that we did at Centennial Park in Coronado, CA. Although this technically isn’t an engagement session (they were already married,) I think it fits in this category anyway:)

They wanted some San Diego photos, and I couldn’t think of anything more fitting then the San Diego skyline.

Of couse, it wouldn’t constitute a proper session without some high flying kicks in there somewhere!

Check this post for more info to book your session: http://redtiephotography.net/engagement-sessions/
