Jessica and Madden – Engaged!

Jessica and Madden are another of Bethel’s clients (Ceremonies by Bethel) that I had the privilege to work with. After talking a little while, it turns out that Jessica and I used to work at the same Best Buy I did several years ago – at the same time! Little did I know that I would be photographing her wedding (even though the store is small, we were is different departments and didn’t know each other).

Jessica and Madden were up for anything for this shoot and full of smiles. I loved talking with them about their story on how they met, how they became engaged, and philosophies on life. We became instant friends, and I am so excited to be celebrating with them at their wedding in a few weeks.

Qualls Wedding – La Jolla, San Diego

Last weekend I was able to photograph a beautiful wedding in La Jolla, California. Stacy and Shannon Qualls found me through my good friend and favorite wedding officiant Bethel (Ceremonies by Bethel)!

After a few emails and text messages, we decided this would be the best place for their wedding; beautiful beach views without the hassle of walking through too much sand in heels (for the ladies – I wasn’t wearing heels on this occasion).

Warehouse 1425

I was lucky enough to get to go to a really cool event at Warehouse 1425 whose goal is to “lift up this neighborhood as part of a resurgence of art in the east village”. Revamping an old Jeromes Warehouse, local artists showcased their pieces.
