Amy and Joel – SDSU Engagement Session

Amy and I went to highschool together and I am so excited to photograph her wedding next week. Because SDSU is important to Amy and Joel (seeing as I’m an alumni, it’s special to me too), we decided it would be a great spot to do their engagement session. Amy’s daughter Riley came as well and we made it a family affair and I have to admit, as cute as Amy and Joel are together, there were a few times where Riley stole the show:)

Anyway, on to the photos!

Will and Lily – Engaged

Lily and Will were SO fun to photograph. Lily and I go back to Best Buy days, and I just recently met Will. At our consult, we had a – “You want to be friends?” moment. Seriously, we did. At that point, I knew it was going to be a fun journey with these 2 as they plan their wedding.

We started the day off with tons of laughs, and it kept through the session. We took a little break where we found the world’s most expensive Coke (cola that is), and continued on after a quick wardrobe change. Lily and Will love the architecture and greenery of Balboa, and we did our best to get a good mix of them both.

Brian and Robert Evans – Married

Robert and Brian were another great referral from Bethel! They were looking for something beachy, without too beachy and of course we thought of Torrey Pines! What we didn’t know is that they were repaving the parking lot at the bottom and we weren’t going to be able to drive up the hill. Brian and Robert were great sports and really embodied the spirit of the wedding, knowing that things happen and you just have to work through them! I really appreciated this type of understanding and know these 2 are going to be great together!

Jessica and Madden are Married – La Jolla, CA!

Jessica and Madden were SO much fun to work with! They booked my favorite officiant, Bethel, and within the span of a month we did an engagement shoot and photographed their wedding. I had so much fun with these 2, and learned a lot about each of them. I even found out Jessica used to work at the same Best Buy as I did – small world, right? They had a really touching ceremony and at the end of the reception Madden even sang to Jess – I’m not going to lie, I teared up a little (aka a lot). What an awesome couple – thank you and your family for making the day so memorable.

0723_20131026_hodge-wedding

Josh and Cristina got married at the beautiful Immaculata Parish on the USD campus and it was an awesome wedding. These 2 are super sweet and great together! As you may have seen on a previous blog post, Josh was one of the people to sell me my first camera – funny how things come about, right?

Anyway, enjoy all the images – it was really hard to choose which ones to blog!

Thank you Josh and Cristina for having such an AWESOME wedding and involving me in it.
